Dove Release Cancellation Policy

At Dj's Singing Dove, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our business while ensuring the highest level of service for every event.

Cancellation by Client

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled event will receive a full refund of any payments made, excluding any non-refundable booking deposit.

  • Cancellations made 7–14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund of the remaining balance after any non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled event are non-refundable due to scheduling commitments and preparation for your event.

Rescheduling

We understand that unexpected situations arise. Whenever possible, events may be rescheduled to a new available date within 12 months of the original event without additional fees. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Weather Policy

The safety and well-being of our trained homing doves is our highest priority. If severe weather conditions—including heavy rain, high winds, lightning, extreme heat, or other unsafe conditions—make a release unsafe, we reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel the release. In these cases, we will work with you to arrange an alternate date or provide an appropriate refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Cancellation by Dj's Singing Dove

If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, and a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

No-Show Policy

If the client or event representative is unavailable at the scheduled time and location without prior notice, the service will be considered a completed booking, and no refund will be issued.

Late Fee Policy

At DJ's Singing Doves, we are committed to providing dependable and timely service for every event. To help ensure smooth scheduling and operations, the following late fee policy applies.

Event Delays

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the event begins at the scheduled time listed in the service agreement. If the event is delayed due to circumstances beyond the control of DJ's Singing Doves, a $100 late fee will be charged for delays that require our team to remain on-site beyond the agreed-upon service time.

Examples of delays may include, but are not limited to:

  • The ceremony or event starts significantly later than scheduled.

  • The client or event coordinator is not available upon our arrival.

  • The release location is not ready at the scheduled time.

  • Last-minute changes that require additional waiting time.

Notification of Delays

If you anticipate a delay, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate schedule changes; however, adjustments are subject to availability and may still result in the applicable late fee.

Additional Delays

Extended delays beyond a reasonable waiting period may require rescheduling or may prevent us from completing the dove release if another scheduled event would be affected.
